Small update: have started my final readthrough/edit, should start in on the final 5 chapters in a week or two. No idea how fast or slow that last bit will go, but, hey, it's ONLY in the low 100s this week! How lucky am I? Might even see 99 degrees this weekend, talk about freezing cold!
zoom zoom! Our summer in podunk KS has been unseasonably mild--this used to instill fear in the hearts of everyone that the winter would be the backlash from hell, but the last few years have not shown this to be the case. We've had maybe 3 weeks in the 100's off and on, but it keeps hovering in the high 80's/low 90's. Still too hot for my tastes, but tolerable. I'll stay holed up inside waiting for low 70's and new book releases...
