Improving and Back At It

Just wanted to say I am back to writing, here and there, and the pain has returned to not-fun but manageable levels for me.  Physio is probably a thing of the past, since I'm scared of a repeat and just having that appointment every week and needing a couple days in bed to recover after was playing havoc on its own.

So, yeah, hoping for some boring normal over this summer and just tapping away at the phone pumping out new scenes.  Really enjoying the one I'm writing now, in fact...and the next one I get to introduce a new Welf for ya'll!

  2. A wee Welf? Or some other sort of Beef Welfington? Intriguing. Take as much time as you need, Boss. Avoid any sudden spasmodic movements and etc. (I am a certified "old guy", so I get to say stuff like that.) Happy writing.

    1. Not a wee Welf (although...in other places...). You've heard this character mentioned actually, just no page time yet.

  3. I keep thinking about SS, especially the scene with KH and Ceinwyn in the Holding Room talking about why he fought Welf and the multi-tiered system. It really resonated, I guess. I think your choice to have a school-only novel for this semester was smart--the immersion showed how much KH was invested in Class 2015.

I'm looking forward to FM8 So. Much. Hoping you'll be able to toss us a few crumbs along the way.

    1. Just wanted to clarify, because I am so difficult, that the FM number system is only for mainline books, so Seismic Semester is not FM7, The Most Obvious Trap is.

The "King Henry Tapes" tab has everything listed, even if a couple titles are place holders to keep from spoiling you lot.

    2. I realized that after I published, but I couldn't edit, oops! So, while I am looking forward to WTEAW and Vicky's book, I am dying to get back to 2018/19 and the fallout from PONR, so I guess I meant FM7?

    3. Most Obvious Trap (FM7) = February 2020.

  4. Well if you need something to take your attention away from the pain, Clair Obscur is real good. As a JRPG fan, seeing something like this come from the West, hell the game in general coming from a western developer was surprising. It's got my recommendation boss. Other than that, congrats on being able to write and glad you're enjoying what you're putting out.

    2. Good going. Only other thing I'd suggest is Abiotic Factor. Crafting survival in a massive lab complex focused around SCP-like stuff.
