Now you're just showing off to make me feel worse about me 300 words a day (lack of) productivity. But see, if I am writing, I'm not reading... or playing BG3.... Priorities, man, priorities. Of course, I also do not have your loyal fanbase, which you have earned through incredible talent and hard work... so there's that.
Seriously, rest, recover, feel better. And as always, thank you for sharing your stories with us.
Well good to hear stuff is progressing for you regarding treatments. With that said, anything you're looking forward to reading/watching/etc while bed lounging?
Finally watched Gen V. Excellent. Excited for season 4 of The Boys now. That whole world is really well done. Some small quibbles, wasn't a big fan of how much they took the edge off Homelander in Season 2, but BOY did they correct that. Think a certain character should've died in Season 3... But still loving it and even the spin off now. Still think the dolphin scene is the hardest I've ever laughed at a tv show or movie in my life.
What If Season 2. Worth a watch. Why is cartoon Marvel doing a better job at making characters I care about than actual Marvel? And also doing a multiverse story better than them? The whole episode in Mohawk was fun for an alt history perspective and liked to see more of Hela...Cate Blanchett did a cartoon, how about that?
Holdovers. Highly recommend. Just a solid, enjoyable movie. Really glad we're starting to get these lower budget quality films again. Studios pushed filming the blockbusters even during the pandemic but the "award contenders" really dried up.
Waiting until all of Invincible Season 2 is out before I start it...
Next up, going to try to get through the final seasons of Succession and Better Call Saul before the Emmys, but might not make it. Not like I watch the Emmys these days...but...seems like a good time.
Reading wise...starting Sanderson's Skyward books again with a reread on the first two before finishing the series. After that might get back on the Leaphorn and Chee grind...think I'm halfway through at this point.
Also paper editing about 100 pages of War to End All Wars with a lot of pillows pushed up around me...
